Shoji screens make excellent window coverings, with a unique Japanese touch of class.
During the day they allow a lot of light in, but still provide you with the privacy you would get from blinds or curtains.
They also keep the sun from fading your furniture, carpets, etc. and their white warlon paper reflects much of the summer heat back out
the window.
At night, they again provide you privacy, but they also display a nice shadow pattern for viewing from outside.
