There are a few things that you want to consider when picking a "gridwork" or a "Kumiko" pattern:
The first one, of course is what pattern do you visually like the most?
The more "dense" your gridwork, the more raw material we have to put into the price of your screen
The more "intersections" you have on your screen, the more production complexity we have to put into the price
If your screen is larger than 39 inches on any single side, then patterns 9-15 will be less expensive than any other screen pattern
of similar density and complexity
Always feel free to sketch up your own pattern and send us a copy!
Lastly, the size of your screen dictates what gridwork options are available to you.
Patterns 1-8 are only available for screens that are less than 39" in both dimensions
Patterns 16-22 are basically the exact same patterns as 1-8, except that these layouts show what your screen would look like if it was
taller than 39 inches in height. (These are more expensive options than patterns 9-15)
If your screen is 71 inches or taller, it will require a kick-board installed at the bottom of the screen. Those patterns are shown
in patterns 23-29
Although the gridwork patterns below do not show this level of detail, all our gridwork will weave in as shown in this graphic . ..
Note that screens that use one of the patterns shown in 9-15 will also have one or two small splices in their border along the long dimension
of the screen as shown in this picture . . .
