We custom make Japanese Shoji Screens to the size, stain, pattern, and most importantly . . . usage . . . you desire. Typically, you either have the option of purchasing manufactured screens from an Asian import store that come in pre-determined shapes and sizes, or you can go to a shoji Craft$man that will pain$takingly make you your screens by hand.

At Seattle Custom Shoji, we use a simplified production system based off the principles created by Toyota car company. This system allows us to bridge the cost gap between those two options, yet still make your unique screens.
